ELISE NELSON
Introducing 24-year old R&B/Soul singer and songwriter with Reggae fusions, ELISE NELSON! She “writes songs, then she sings them“. The North West London native whose influences come from artists like Bob MarleyGeorge HarrisonAmy Winehouse and Coldplay has been actively writing and recording music for ten years with her earliest works coming from her collaborations with celebrated producer Nutty P (Stinkabell, The Bakery Studio). Now working on her debut EP which is due for release in the Summer, Elise along with her guitarist and collaborator Frank Clarke will be storming the One Mic UK stage for a special Not to be missed LIVE performance.


CHEIKH
Also introducing emerging Senegalese American Hip-Hop artist CHEIKH with a musical styling that can be described as smart and uplifting. Now residing in London, the 19-year old emcee – who draws his influences from the likes of Lauryn HillChaka KhanTupac Shakur and Kanye West – released debut mixtape Pray Until Something Happens (P.U.S.H) last Summer to critical acclaim across both borders and will be performing songs from the stellar debut project as well as work from his forthcoming project.

Kal Lavelle is an Irish born singer songwriter who has already been tipped by the Sunday Mirror’s ‘Hot for 2012 Ones to Watch’. Her single ‘Breakfast At Tiffanys’ was recently chosen as Single Of The Week on iTunes as well as her debut EP ‘Shivers’ reaching #5 on the iTunes Singer/Songwriter album chart. The iTunes US charts also featured her in the ‘New & Noteworthy’ section. She was the featured vocalist on Artfuls ‘Could just be the Bassline’, spent summer 2011 touring with Ed Sheeran and is now working on a new collaborations EP due out in Spring. Charlee Drew is a young singer/songwriter who has built a great platform over the last year, including an impressive online following with over 4500 twitter followers, 8000 facebook fans, 9000 youtube subscribers without releasing a record.2011 saw him writing, producing and featuring on U.K rapper Skepta’s Top 20 album, performing at Glastonbury, MTV’s “The Wrap up” and receiving BBC Radio 1 airplay. Josh Kumra is a soulful singer songwriter with a guitar on his back and a long road ahead. Hailing from Swindon Josh hit the road, playing his inaugural London show at Camden’s Monkey Chew’s where he was spotted and soon signed a publishing deal with Levels/EMI and started writing the next chapter of his story.
